Karis Village

Karis Village, a $28MM+ new construction affordable housing community located in Miami, was completed in early 2018. The fully amenitized community provides 88 residences serving veterans and families, many of whom are formerly homeless or are considered “at-risk” of homelessness.

Green Mills identified the property, negotiated site control and served as a co-developer. Our team received a competitive 9% LIHTC and SAIL allocation from the Florida Housing Finance Corporation in April 2015. Financial closing and construction commencement occurred in late 2016, and construction completed in early 2018. The community is fully occupied and maintains an interest list.
