SILVER CREEK

Silver Creek is a mixed-use, mixed-income community with 90 residences serving families in Miami-Dade County at both affordable (80% AMI and below) and workforce (140% AMI and below) levels. The $26MM+ development is a “green” certified community and features on-site management, clubroom, game room, fitness center and a tot-lot. All apartments have Energy Star-rated appliances and open floor plans.

Silver Creek also has a state-of-the-art 3,200 sq. ft. ground floor retail bay, currently leased to and operated by a local non-profit that assists small and minority-owned businesses in the community.

Green Mills acquired the vacant property from a private land seller and was the lead developer and managing general partner. Silver Creek was recommended for an award of competitive 9% tax credits (LIHTC) by Florida Housing in Summer 2017 and commenced construction in early 2019.
